Minor League Rules

1. Five (5) runs may score per inning, No run limit for last inning of the game.

2. Twelve (12) run mercy rule after Four (4) complete innings.

3. Two (2) hour time limit. No inning can start after two hours, bottom half of inning must be complete within 2 hours and fifteen minutes. If inning not complete at end of time, score will stand as official at that point.

4. Maximum of three (3) walks per inning.

                                        * After four balls to any subsequent batter, the offensive coach will pitch a maximum of five pitches from the pitching rubber to the batter who must either hit is out on swinging strikes. The strike count carries: no called strikes. The pitcher then resumes pitching to the next batter. The same process follows until the half inning ha ended.

5. Continuous batting order, all players must hit.

6. Substitutions may be made at any time without limitation.

7. Bunting is permitted.

8. Steals: Maximum of Three (3) steals permitted per inning. During a steal play of any runner to any base, a runner will not be permitted to cross home plate. This includes all situations E.G. double steal, overthrows, Dead ball. Etc.

9. NO ON –DECK BATTER’S EVER PERMITTED!

10. No infield fly rule.

11. Nine (9) defensive players must be on the field at all times.

12. Seven players from each team must be present to start a game. You may borrow two players for defense from the opposing team those two players will be the last two at bat.

13. Base coaches: two adult coaches are permitted.

14. One (1) Defensive coach is permitted on the field situated behind second base under the following restrictio0ns.   (A)You must stay in the outfield and (B) you must not make contact with the ball or any player at any time. Faller to follow this rule will result with removal from the playing field.

15. Speedup rule: You must pull your catcher off base to suit up when there is two outs.

16. Pitcher in control of the ball in the circle: The ball is dead. Runners more than half way will advance to the next base at the discretion of the umpire.

17. Maximum of four hit batters per game, or three hit batters per inning. At that point the pitcher must be removed from pitching. (Not the game).

18. Four (4) innings must be pitched per week by a nine (9) year old.

19. Rain-outs: It is the manager’s responsibility to get games re-scheduled with there Div. Director.

20. Pitches will pitch from 35 feet.

20. Have fun and remember they are children.  Any rule not covered here will be covered by the little league rule book.

Any Manager or coach who becomes abusive to any player, Umpire or other team Manager will immediately be removed from the field and removed from Coaching.

     games.

2. A 11 yr old must pitch six of the 18 innings in a week.

3. Speedup rule: You must pull your catcher off base to suit up when there is two outs.
