2008 Dates to Remember

 December 29, 2007 

            The school for all candidate umpires will be held at Commack Middle School in Dix Hills.  Directions:  Northern State Parkway east to Commack Road (#43).  As you exit the Northern State Parkway, you will turn right on Vanderbilt Parkway.  Proceed west on Vanderbilt until you see the school on the left (about ¼ mile).  Enter the school through the main entrance and follow the signs to the classroom.

             There will be six Wednesday sessions, one Tuesday session, and one Sunday clinic session in the Spring.  The weeknight evening sessions will last from 7 PM to 9:30 PM.  These sessions will begin Wednesday night, January 16, 2008, and will continue until the final test is given on February 27.  You should plan to attend ALL of these sessions.

 1/16, Wed.     Orientation, general questions, Rule 1,2

 1/23, Wed.      Rules 3, 4, 5, 6

 1/30, Wed.      Rules 7, 8

 2/06, Wed.      Rule 8

 2/12, Tues.      Field Practice

 2/13, Wed.      Review for Final Exam

 2/27, Wed.      Final Exam

 3/05, Wed.      Make up Session, if necessary

 This is a $65.00 cash course.  No checks will be accepted.
